The first song Torizon ever wrote, "Shine On" is a sentimental and important track to the band. Lyrically, "Shine On" focuses on overcoming trauma and never letting anything hold you back, as vocalist Mish explains: “I wrote the lyrics after coming out of an abusive relationship. After a few months of self-doubt, I woke up one day with an immense sense of empowerment, a strong desire to rebuild myself and to 'Shine On' no matter what! For the first time in years I had found myself again – I was happy, scared, grieving and excited all at the same time. I felt strongly about being honest in this song for others who may find themselves in a similar situation and have lost their sense of self and their self-worth. We have all felt like that at some point in our lives and it is possible to rebuild when you feel you’ve lost everything you ever knew. You are not alone, we all deserve security, love, happiness and to Shine On.”
