This song represents the new musical direction for Torizon. Lyrically, "Falling" explores the vicious cycle of abuse and how victims can be empowered to break free and become survivors of abuse, as explained by vocalist Mish: "The lyrics are written from the point of view of a victim confronting their abuser. Abuse victims tend to lose their sense of self and fall for the same manipulative patterns because subconsciously they believe that they deserve such treatment. This song gives the victim an empowering position to take control and leave an abusive relationship - to stop falling for the trap that the abuser will change."
